Weekend Guide Plus: Dancer Bill T. Jones in Harlem
If you think that dancing is kids stuff then you haven’t met renowned dancer Bill T. Jones. Tomorrow, August 19th, Jones will be at Hue-Man bookstore signing his book simply titled Dance. The book is for children of all ages and features Bill’s signature twists, twirls, shapes and curves.
The book signing will take place at 2:00 p.m at the Hue-Man Bookstore. For directions visit the website or use hopstop.com. Be sure to check the M.T.A. weekend advisory (link in sidebar) if you will be traveling by subway.
According to the New York Post we could be seeing a lot more of Jones and company up here in Harlem which would certainly be giving the troubled Dance Theatre of Harlem a run for their money. We’ll have to keep a close watch on this developing situation.
