Embrace our brownstone, listen to the words of our members, meet Staff & Volunteers, and learn about how you can join our growing family of volunteers and supporters.
WHO’S A FRIEND?:
The Friends of The Brotherhood/Sister Sol is a group of volunteers who plan and implement special events to increase awareness of BHSS and raise money to support BHSS programs.
WHO’S BHSS?:
The Brotherhood/Sister Sol was founded in 1995 to empower Black and Latino youth and provide them with the guidance, resources and love necessary for them to develop into critical thinkers and community leaders. BHSS offers a number of programs and activities to 200 youth, ages 6-19, including educational support, leadership development, Rites of Passage, career and job skills training, international study, youth organizing and community outreach.
