Pursuit of Happyness joins a long line of No. 1 openings for Smith, including the action tales Independence Day and I, Robot.

    Encouraging to see a good black role model movie and a success.

    As opposed to the ‘Get rich or die tryin’ (trying to spell) tripe.

    FYI, just saw the Sidney Poitier movie, To Sir, with Love (1967), can thoroughly recommend.
