    i always thought uptown was gonna be the last bastion of the harlem websites i could go to and avoid the race baiting. oh well…guess that’s over.

    Hate Zagats. White/Anglo institution that declares itself the abiter of where I should be dining. No thanks, it’s an old world institution that never did give a F about Black communities.

    When I want an inside on where to dine, I just go on-line, most all communities have their own local versions of reviews & tips. For example I was looking for a place in Washiington Heights and just googled it…found a great spot, referred to by numerous locals, not Zagat.

    I don’t need the white man to steer me to anything (restuarants, investments, no matter what…you can have your old white institutions thank you).
