What’s Happenin’ This Weekend?

Here is an “unofficial” return of the weekend guide/flavor report:

HARLEM LITTLE LEAGUE

Who: Boys and girls ages 5-18

When: Saturday, January 27 and February 3 from 10 AM to 2 PM

Where: Marshall’s Harlem Center 125 West 125th Street, 3rd Floor

What: In-person registration for the 2007 season. You can also register your child online at www. harlemlittleleague.org

Cost: Visit the website for registeration fee information

Bonus:  The first 50 families who register in person will receive a $10 gift certificate to Marshall’s!

FILM SCREENING 

Yo Soy Boricua, Pa’Que Tu Lo Sepas

What: A special screening of Yo Soy Boricua, directed by Rosie Perez.  The film is an exploration of what it means to be “Boricua.”

When: Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 1:00 p.m.

Where: Schomburg Center for Resarch in Black Culture, Langston Hughes Auditorium. 515 Lenox Avenue (Malcolm X Blvd.) Temporary entrance at 103 West 135th Street.

Cost: $5
