East Harlem is "hispanic" and does have a whole foods you have to walk to get there. There are many things besides fast food here. Walk on any avenue and walk south you will find bars and restaurants and all sorts of things other neighborhoods have. New East Harlem my ass. I wonder how many residents can afford to move there. I'm betting not a lot. There are many schools and hospitals within reach as well as programs and jobs. The way other people advertise this neighborhood gets on my nerves. It is a good neighborhood but people always miss the mark on what it really is like to be here. East Harlem is my neighborhood and has been forever.
