Next Stop: SoHo North [updated]
It was to be expected — developments being named SoHA 118 and Strivers North; Realtors professing that “the area will feature Soho type lofts, with a Noho sensibility,” it had happen. What is it? SoHo North.
Featured in a half page ad in amNY, SoHo North advises readers to “bring your bonus uptown.” Halstead is offering 11 premiere lofts in the heart of Central Harlem (notice no cutesy lingo to describe the area!)
A couple of my favorite features include:
- Soaring ceilings up to 10.5 feet tall
- Five fixture master baths with double vanities and cast iron soaking tubs
And these place aren’t just luxury…the are described as “ultra luxury.” I could see the building eventually being dubbed SoHoNo. [insert groans here!] The website is barebones; No funky, ecclectic music and floor plans here. [edit: links are fixed]
