The Cat is out of the Bag
While we are on the topic of tipping, Gothamist brings to our attention the (apparently illegal) practice of grocery stores not paying their baggers for their services. I was aware that baggers at some of the smaller stores were working exclusively for tips but according to the labor bureau they should be getting minimum wage compensation from the stores.
