Very good, close friend!!!!... You just said it. Instead of be honor and thankfully for what the owners did to our community, we just waist our time on poor comments. If chef Ricardo is not good, I believe the owners are smart enought to find out. Both, Hamlet & Max are very hard working guys and deserve this new opportunity.
Let's give them our support and critics in the positive side for everybody benefits....
Remember... Ricardo is just the chef not the owner

Ive dined at the hudson river cafe and i think the atmosphere, food and service were great. For those who didnt understand the hudson river cafe concept the menu offers a selection of quality food from the hudson valley down to harlem such as organic corn fed steak to paellas to collard greens. The drinks and the wine list are amazing. Ive dined all around the city and i would say this place offers the best outdoor dining experience...its the best thing thats happen to harlem...GREAT FOOD...LIVE MUSIC...definitely going back for more!!!

Congratulations! Finally we have a nice and decent restaurant where we can chat, listen to jazz music, drink fine wine and tasting an excellent cuisine. I have to say that I was happy to see the management greeting at the door and making sure that I enjoy every minute and penny spent there. All employees display a good degree of hospitality. Food was brought to me in a promp and professional way. I guess many business owners are shaking due to the impact.
Please tell mayor Bloomberg to lease you the extra meters to the river. Vivan los latinos enterpreneur!

There is still no legible menu available anywhere online. I really think restaurants should have their website livce the day they open. I believe it can add to the hype.

Ate at HudRivCafe on 2cnd day the place was open and this restaurant has alot to offer. Pro's are-
Stylish and impressive inteior from the decor and design aspect of the place down to proper quality table and glass wear. out doors look perfect for coctail parties and warm weather dining. The waitstaff and Mgmnt are pleasant, accomedating and fairly attentive.
Con's are-
Price points.
you should not come here if you are looking for a great steak at a neighborhood place unless you dont mind spending $38 for it and also spending $20 for an appetizer of 'smoked fish trio' for one person presumably. we tried a few dishes (mussles were ok. house Pate seemed prepared from another store, maybe Fairway) and the other menu selections we sampled were
ho-hum if not forgetable. I feel this place will become satisfying but I also feel that regardless of atmosphere, service, and quality of the product offered here, the prices will ostracize quite a number of people who will never consider being 'regulars'. And this is not yet a "destination spot" location in any way, shape or form. one major NYC city water/sewage treatment plant is the nearby view on the water in addition to NJ and the GWBridge.
