If I had to choose a favorite male jazz vocalist I would have to say that Johnny Hartman would be him. I first heard Johnny’s voice, rich and elegant, singing “Lush Life” on the radio and I was sold. Hartman has provided vocals for the likes of jazz great John Coltrane. Need I say more?
