The Grassroots Farmers’ Market will be back in Jackie Robinson Park this summer with a larger market and, hopefully, an expanded schedule.
Last year, the market was held every Saturday from 9am – 4 pm, July–November. This year, Grassroots is hoping to expand to Tuesdays.

The Columbia Spectator reports that Morningside Park is under consideration for scenic landmark status. The park was designed by the same team that collaborated on Central Park and Prospect Park.
