Homeowners, co-op owners and building owners and landlords from Central Harlem; parts of Morningside Heights, Upper West Side, East Harlem are invited to attend a Thursday April 26 Owners’ Night at the Harlem State Office Building organized by the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD).

 

The event will provide information on the availability of HPD services such as low-interest loans, housing violations correction and assistance with mortgages and refinancing as well as HPD courses including building management and maintenance, expense reduction strategies and owner-tenant relations. Attendees will watch a DVD entitled “Services for Residential Property Owners” that presents HPD’s services and rehabilitation loan programs. A panel of experts from HPD will then answer questions from the audience.
