East Harlem is becoming a Sooper Neighborhood

On May 3, 2007 by D. Bell

I received an email this morning from Doug over at Blog Soop. He informed me that he finally got around to writing an article about his neighborhood of East Harlem. As part of the article, he had the chance to chat with a wonderful lady I met through a networking event sponsored by Mind, Body N Socials.

Michelle Cruz is in the process of opening a new cafe called, The East Harlem Cafe. She has been having free coffee tastings monthly in the neighborhood in preparation for offering the best selection of coffee in the area.

I also had a note in the box from the photographer who took the photo of the day. She proposed that we have an uptown meet up of sorts to build up the collection of pictures in photo pool. Anyone interested in hanging out with other uptowners, drop me a line.

The weather has been gorgeous which gives you an excellent excuse to enjoy the great outdoors. Perhaps you’ll want to get out and run the north end of Central Park like marathon runner Lance or just hang out at the Meer snapping shots and enjoying the sights.
