Hamilton Heights House and Garden Tour
Have you ever walked through Hamilton Heights and wondered about the gorgeous homes? I know I have. Fortunately a number of homeowners are willing to open up their homes for the annual HH House & Garden Tour on Sunday, June 3rd, 2007 from 11am to 4pm.
This self-guided tour offers a unique opportunity to visit the interiors of a collection of historic homes representing an extraordinary variety of styles – including Romanesque, Flemish/Dutch Revival, Tudor, Beaux Arts, French Neo-Classical and Italian Renaissance Revival – in one of Harlem’s most distinguished and visited landmark neighborhoods.
A portion of the proceeds will be used to support children’s programs at local community organizations.
Tickets are $25
The tour begins at The Hamilton Grange National Memorial, Convent Avenue at 141st Street, Harlem, New York City.
Also offered this year on Saturday, June 2, is a Walking Tour of Hamilton Heights, led by historian Michael Henry Adams.
