Hike the Heights 3: “Giraffe Path” Saturday, June 16th 10 am – 3 pm

Follow the Giraffe Path through four parks beginning at Jackie Robinson and ending at Highbridge where there will be a party with free food, music, a tour of Highbridge Tower, and games for children.

As an added attraction, hundreds of local children spent the past several weeks decorating wire giraffes that will be clustered into families throughout St Nicholas, Jackie Robinson, and Highbridge Parks. There are three places to join others on group hikes:

1. St. Nicholas Park (St. Nicholas Ave. and W. 141st St.) at 10 am

2. Jackie Robinson Bandshell (W. 148th St. and Bradhurst Ave.) at 10:30 am

3. Swindler Cove (Near Dyckman St. and 10th Ave.) at 10:30 am

All hikes lead to the games and food at Highbridge Park,Amsterdam Ave. at W. 175th St.

This project was led by Creative Arts Workshops for Kids and City Life is Moving Bodies.
