Grandparents Get their Groove On

senior-couple-african-american.jpgOn Saturday, June 23rd, 2007, GRANDPARENTS AROUND THE WORLD PRODUCTIONS, will be holding their annual GRANDPARENTS BALL in Harlem, New York.

This annual event will be preceded by a horse drawn carriage procession up Lenox Avenue, and will  offer guest speakers, gospel singers, praise dancers, live poetry readings, a live band and more.

The GRANDPARENTS BALL horse drawn carriage procession will start at 110th Street and Lenox Avenue at 3 PM and end at 540 Lenox Avenue. Festivities and dinner will immediately follow.

This sounds like a great way to pay homage to the elders.
