Caminito in Spanish Harlem

Caminito, a new Argetine steakhouse, opened this week on Park Ave., near 118th. No official website yet, but NYMag.com and TONY.com have tidbits on the hacienda.

Great place. Would love to have gone back, but that was not to be. Only open for two months? I live close by and the place was definitely doing business. Anyway, Harlem welcomes more food. Please no more Mexican or ‘soul’ food though, we have that covered.
We had dinner at Caminito on Saturday night and LOVED it. My wife had a chicken dish as her main, and I had the short ribs. We shared an empanadas appetizer. Everything was delicious (including the reasonable Malbec wine by the glass) and they were very accomodating with our little girl. So happy to have a place like this in the neighborhood.
i just got back from being out of town for a month to find this place popped up in my backyard! the food is great and damn if they didn’t pop up overnight.
guess that’s what i get for leaving town for so long!
We visited Caminito last night and enjoyed it. They’ve done a nice job with the decor of this small space (you could call it “intimate”) and the open kitchen is kind of fun. The menu is nice and well priced, and the wine list is pretty lengthy. If you’re a meat lover, the sampler platter (can’t remember the exact name) is a rediculous amount of food at a great price and will allow you to try a bit of each of their specialties. The train rumbles by above Park every so often, but it doesn’t disturb the nice atmosphere – the owners and chef are also very friendly. We’ll go back.
we tried caminito last week and were pleasantly surprised. it’s small (but you could call it intimate) and the open kitchen is a fun touch. the trains above on park ave. occasionally rumble by, but the nice atmosphere inside isn’t disrupted. very friendly owner and chef. the food took awhile, but was worth the wait – meat was very tasty and the portions are generous, to say the least. argentinian wine list is good and fairly priced. we will definitely go back to support them.
HOW IS THE FOOD THERE I WOULD LIKE TO GO AND TRY IT OUT HOW IS IT HOLLA BACK
