Tribute to Hector Lavoe

Sashay over to Central Park this Thursday for a salsa evening that will pay tribute to the music of Héctor Lavoe.

The free event, hosted by El Museo del Barrio as part of its Summer Nights series, will take place at the Dana Discovery Center on Harlem Meer at the northeast end of the park (110th and Lenox).

Party starts at 6:30 p.m. In the meantime, enjoy this video of a Lavoe classic.
