Samba New York Workshop

On September 27, 2007 by

Samba New York! is gearing up for one of the biggest performances of the year, the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade. And you can still get on board! Join now and come to our 5 workshops in October. Dedicated students will be able to parade and perform in one of the largest, loudest ensembles in the parade.

The workshop series will teach you some of the fundamentals of the samba school style of Rio de Janeiro, plus you’ll be learning Samba New York!’s unique arrangements– rhythms and phrases that define Samba New York!’s individual sound.

The course is $105 for all five sessions (sorry no partial enrollment), but $5 off if you respond by 9/27. Trust me, after you experience the first one, taking the subsequent classes would be an easy choice anyway.

Instructor: Philip Galinsky, Ph.D.
