Passages Exhibition
The Passages Exhibition will open at the Heath Gallery as part of the 3rd Annual Harlem Open Artist Studio Tour. The exhibit features the works of five African-American aale, intergenerational artists exploring personal, social and cultural milestones. The five artists are Thomas Heath, Daren Chambers, Bob Daniels, Lawrence Joyner, and Pheonix.
The event will also feature the introduction of collaborative painting, “Untitled,” and an artist talk about the collaborative process.
The exhibit will show through November 4th (Heath Gallery is Closed Sundays and Thursdays).
The Heath Gallery is a boutique exhibition space located in the Mount Morris Park Historic district that has been exhibiting works of local emerging and established artists for the past 4 years. The gallery is housed on the first floor of a renovated landmark townhouse. Past exhibits included work by Xenobia Bailey, Aleathia Brown, Marlene Ware, BuJo Williams, and Betty Thornton.
