New Plans for Victoria Theater
The Victoria Theater, built in 1917, has long played second fiddle to its more famous neighbor, The Apollo Theater, but it is getting its own shine now. Vacant since the 1980′s, new plans have emerged that will include theater use and space for cultural groups. Read the article in the Columbia Spectator.

The pic is kinda small but I still don’t know how I feel about it. Seems oddly out of place.
This is good news! But I really hope there’s more space for artists rather than condos. A hotel isn’t a bad idea, actually. But preservation of some aspect of the theater is key. Great news that something is moving on this landmark getting a renovation.
