I think Michael makes some very great points. I think however the bridge between what exists now to what he describes at the ideal environment for race relations is going to be tough to build. Not it should discourage the effort. However, entire political-economical machines are built on precisely those platforms that highlight those racial divides. It’s become part of the collective consciousness of the people. And that takes an overhaul of mega proportions. In the end, however we should all come together before the steps of government as one people advocating for our rights as humans…not as blacks, whites, hispanics. Dr. King’s dream however elusive is still attainable.
