Petronia Paley, who also until very recently taught acting for us, is having the premiere of her play, “On the Way To Timbuku” presented at The Ensemble Studio Theatre from December 6th thru the 21st (info at www.ensemblestudiotheatre.org ). Bravo Petronia and we hope you all have a chance to see her work. Our reading series with The Classical Theatre of Harlem picks up again on January 16th with Carlton Byrd’s “Going Home” at the Schomburg.

And speaking of The Classical Theatre of Harlem, we hope you have the opportunity to see their exciting revival of Langston Hughes’ “The Black Nativity” at the Duke Theatre. Performances run thru December 30th (info at www.classicaltheatreofharlem.org)
