“Reallionaire” author Gray debunks myths that keep the would-be wealthy from achieving their dreams in this uneven but well-intentioned volume that is part rags-to-riches story, part think-yourself-rich guide. Born in Chicago’s projects, Gray put his considerable energy and confidence into escaping the poverty that surrounded him to become the youngest person with an office on Wall Street. Now at age 22, he is a multimillionaire, entrepreneur and money coach who attributes his success to rejecting the seven lies that keep people from wealth.

Shame on you UF for starting ’08 all wrong and hyping and pumping this total nonsense appealing to the lowest common denominator on the fast track. 1). People with real insight and knowledge are far older than 22 and have made and lost lots of money, 2). People with anything of real value and insight to offer charge a tremendous amount of money for that, they’re called “consultants”, they make thousands of dollars daily speaking to clients from their wealth of knowledge and insight, they do not sell and sign books. 3). There are nonsense people that are in the business of selling books and portraying a story of how great they are, hoping you’re stupid enough to further line their pockets with money. If this kid had valuable skills and talents,he would be consumed time wise on his core competency. It’s not, he’s in the business of selling and hyping books.
There are people in the business of selling “hope” and “dreams”, “hype” sans paying your dues, earning it, for real, they’re telling you the express lane is there for you…..yeah…right.
This is old hat, old news, only the latest of the talentless people trying to get suckers to buy into their notion. Need and example of a clown that made the newspaper last week in Harlem?
Remember Kwamer Jackson? He’s even got an “Harvard MBA”. He made his money getting people to buy into his story on how great he is, he has not real skill set that a company would value and pay for. Just a few years ago the guy was in the business of selling books on how successful he was, and how to be like him. Well well well….look what’s been in the newspapers the last few days…
Kwame Jackson has a Harvard MBA, is an entrepreneur and a corporate lecturer, and was runner-up on the first season of “The Apprentice.” But Jackson is about to lose his condo in Harlem. According to papers filed with the city, a lien has been placed on Jackson’s West 123rd Street apartment for nonpayment of common charges of more than $12,000, dating to April 2006. Jackson could not be reached. (New York Post)

*…..the runner-up on NBC’s first season of “The Apprentice,” is about to lose his triplex condo in Harlem.
According to documents filed with the city, a lien has been placed on Jackson’s West 123rd Street apartment for nonpayment of common charges of more than $12,000, dating back to April 2006.
“We’ve had a few payments in the past,” the building’s lawyer, Lisa Breier Urban told The Post’s Braden Keil, “but nothing has come in for the last eight months.”
Jackson, one of People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
The point? UF, It’s a dis-serve to promote hype and nonsense, fantasy and dreams, someone selling a quick way to get rich, appealing to the lowest common denominator. I am financially secure. People aged 22 or 32 or 42 that actually are doing it financially? they’re working 90 hours a week, believe me. They’re not out selling books about how to get rich. Kwame sold books on how to be like him, blah blan blah. Their are lawyers out to evict him from his Harlem digs, look it up. Willing to touch this story UF? It’s real, not fantasy, it’s of a guy who once did the same thing, hype himself, his greatness, etc. Today he’s being evicted from Harlem. The guy’s clearly broke, and he’s got a Harvard MBA.
I know lots of Black people in Harlem that earn $250K+, but they work 70-90 hrs/week and have a solid foundation of education cred.
It’s not easy to really “do it”, selling that notion (and promoting speakers and book sellers) that do that to the community, shame on you UF, what’s next, hyping Amway?
What a raggedy way for you to kick of ’08.
