I’ll See You Somewhere in Harlem with Cute Drinks and Good Music

Hey UPTOWNflavor!

I have been doing the editor thing on this site for the past couple months, but alas, it is already time for me to make my exit. As you all know, I freelance for several different media outlets, but one of the publications I freelance for has offered me a full-time position and I have decided to take it. I will actually still be able to freelance on the side, but unfortunately, I will not be able to work there full-time and give UPTOWNflavor the attention it deserves as a site that is updated multiple times a day.

Working on the site has been fun and I have really enjoyed sharing information about our community and learning quite a bit as well. Thank you to Damaa Bell for giving me this wonderful opportunity and being understanding about the changing circumstances.

Today is my last day as editor, but you will most likely see me popping up in the comments every now and then.

Have a fabulous 2008 and keep UPTOWNflavor going!
