  • Wow… who knew things would get this heated and most folks have not yet seen the show.

To echo illoquentgent, the show has images, paintings and photography of all kinds of folks representing imagery evoking eros and agape. Hopefully we each get to decide for ourselves what art is, since art truly is in the eye of the beholder.

Look forward to seeing some of you at the gallery.

  • >>Editor’s Note: I find it hard to believe that UPTOWNers are really uptight about a tasteful male nude.

Looks like a shower scene from a steamy gay flick where he’s about to have anal sex. I’ve seen lots of them.

    >>If you find yourself offended by the photo then you already know the show probably is not your kind of art.

Offended? I want to do him, and I’m a guy.

  • #1 – Showing a male nude makes it gay? That has to be one of the dumbest things I’ve heard in a long time

  • Would a woman’s back side right down to her ass be posted on this website too? Or is it only men’s bodies that get to be posted here?

*Editor’s Note: I find it hard to believe that UPTOWNers are really uptight about a tasteful male nude. It is art…consider the subject matter. If you find yourself offended by the photo then you already know the show probably is not your kind of art. I see photos of women models in magazines all the time exposing much more than is shown on this model.*

  • I’m going to go out on a limb here and assume you’re a guy, anonymous. FYI, the opening features works with male and female subjects. Just letting you know so you don’t feel left out or anything :)

  • So UF is coming out of the closet & done gone gay? Not that there’s anything wrong with it!
