The lovely Ruby Dee is a class act,she has paved the way for many african-american actors. I knew that she would be up for a nomination hen she portrayed the mother of Frank Lucus in the movie American Gangster. It will be bitter sweet because Ossie is not here to share this with her, however he is here in spirit.Ruby brought tears to my eyes when she slapped Lucas in the movie. I love her and pray that she will get this one for us.
