The 12th season of the Harlem Stage annual film series, featuring New York Women in Film and Television
Enjoy a mix of creative and innovative films, videos short narratives, documentaries and feature length films that cover an array of contemporary social topics that convey the spirit and passion of communities of color. Once again we honor Women’s History Month with our fifth annual collaboration with New York Women in Film and Television.
Featuring 3 Americas by Cristina Kotz; Cornejo, a poignant coming of age story; and 6 Things I Never Told You , a feature film anthology of cinematic snapshots examining committed romantic relationships that are in flux, created by six award-winning NYU Alums of the Graduate Film Program: Ed Durante, Rod Gailes OBC, Caran Hartsfield, Stacey L. Holman, Cinque Northern and James Richards.A special day-long tribute will be given to the life and legacy of documentary filmmaker St. Clair Bourne with showings of his films and a panel discussion on Sunday, March 16.
