Remember a few weeks back we discovered that the old run down lounge on the corner of 145th and St. Nicholas was going to be changed into a Dunkin Donuts? Well, here they are jolting this tired corner back to life with a shots caffine and sugar.

  • I gotta agree it will be marked improvement even though it is another DD. I was honestly pleased to see they converted the original entrance for Jenzi into another window and placed the entrance more at level with the street. I would’ve had flashbacks going down those stairs. The removal of that sign will also return some of the beauty to the round corner of that building architecture-wise.

  • hope they remove that jensi lounge sign though. This corner really did need an improvement. Although we already have a starbucks and another dd down the street it is beter than an abandoned storefront.

now will someone open a wineshop!

  • Can’t wait. That corner will look SO much better. Sorry that Sugar hill Java/Tea had to go, though.
