New Affordable Housing Lottery
We mentioned a few weeks ago that a new building on 119th and Manhattan Avenue was coming along in construction. The details have been released on this final phase of the development’s website. The project will include 25 apartments for low-income families (rents: $463/mo for a studio to $770/mo for a 2 BR) and 50 apartments for middle-income families (rents: $1449/mo for a studio to $2187/mo for a 2BR. The remaining apartments in the building will be market-rate. Current Community Board 10 residents will receive preference for 50% of the lottery units.

Looks like the building will have a lot of great amenities. It will basically be a twin to the 444 Manhattan Avenue building on the next block.
