Yes, Whitley from the Cosby spin-off show “A Different World.” I get tons of hits from people who are looking for recent information about Jasmine and land on the “Raisin’ Cane” post. For information about the show go here. As for her personal life, here is what I know: She has recently filed divorce from her husband of 9 years due to irreconcilable differences and doesn’t seem to be “wishing him well.” Her divorce papers are asking for everything short of his dirty drawers. Her official website, Jasmineguy.org, doesn’t seem to be up and running, but here is her myspace page. Most recently, there has been a lot of talk about the Uptown Emerging Designers Market that took place at the Magic Johnson Theater on May 17 and 18. The next one will be taking place in July, so be sure to swing back through for details.
Hudson River Cafe: We were one of the first sites to catch wind about this fabulous spot located along the Hudson River. It was one of the first more upscale establishments to break ground in the once isolated area that surrounds Fairway Market. As the summer heats up there will be more of the same on the way.
