Dwyer brings new neighbors

Last July, UF featured The Dwyer Condo on 123rd and St. Nicholas. There had been a question for some time about the delays on the project, which seemed to do very well in terms of sales. This weekend I saw that people had started moving in and the building got its TCOs sometime last month. I’m sure the new residents were happy to see the new wine bar Nectar that has opened just down the block since they signed their contracts. Was it worth the wait?

James: can you post some pics of the unit and view?

I’ll post some pix of the views and apt later tonight.

Great to hear James. Any word from your management company on potential retailers for the ground floor?

Wasnt able to get pix, but will try again tonight. No tenant yet for retail, but the mgmt agency has already turned away a food court. They dont want the trash and truck noise. Bank, Sleepy’s and similar retail would be ideal. The building is also hosting Whoopie Gberg’s arts/theatre group in the basement. This is why we get a 421-a for 10yrs.

The art group in the basement will be Community Works.

Are there any rentals in this building – if so, would love to connect.

Just in case you thought I forgot, I did get some pix over the weekend, but then I was just searching the rentals on NYTimes and found that unit 5E is on the market with some great pix of that apt (1 bed, 1 bath with balcony) and a shot of the roof deck. It can be found here…
