Japan Day is an event designed by the Japanese community of New York
to promote deeper understanding of Japanese culture and to say “Thank
you, New York!” Central Park’s East Meadow will be transformed
into a Japanese Summer Festival, featuring the best of
traditional and contemporary Japan, including a wide range of
family-friendly activities and powerful stage performances throughout
the day.
