Second Annual Real Men Get Checked Health Fair

It’s time for Harlem’s 2nd Annual Real Men Get Checked Health Fair. The fair will be on Saturday June 14, 2008 at the Harlem State Office building on 125th Street and Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Blvd. from 11am-4pm. The event is hosted by Get Checked 4 Life, Inc. with support from The Mount Sinai Medical Center, North General Hospital, Health Plus, AskDoctorV.com, and The National Action Network.

The fair is targeted towards African American men who suffer from the worst health in comparison to any other racial group in America and live 7.1 years less than other racial groups. However, all are welcome and all services are FREE!!!

In addition to free health screenings the fair will also offer free haircuts, food, T-shirts, music and entertainment and more!
