PlaNYC Playground Opens in Harlem

Yesterday, June 9, 2008, the new PlaNYC playground opened at P.S. 76; 220 West 121st Street, New York.

This is the second of 221 PlaNYC schoolyards citywide to be renovated and reopened as community playgounds by 2010, to meet the Mayor’s goal of having all New Yorkers live within a ten-minute walk of a park or playground.
