In case you had the chance to listen to the BBC Radio 4 report on Harlem’s gentrification, you might be interested to know that the BBC did a follow story on the phenomenon of gentrification in general which is taking place from the U.K to the U.S.

There was some debate between host Laurie Taylor and guests as to whether urban renewal should be considered displacement or replacement, as well as other verbal posturing and semantic stimulation that you might get a kick out of.
