Note from The Friends of St. Nicholas Park:

The St. Nicholas Park Gardener Scott Farrington has asked that we be
extra alert in letting the authorities know of any one seen taking
plants or flowers from the park. In recent weeks, many perennials
planted by Scott, volunteer and school groups have been taken from the
park. The thefts have occurred all over the park, but especially in
front of the 135th Street plaza and has just recently happened (last
night) in the flower beds at the park entrance near 141st street.

If you see suspicious behavior in the park or someone taking flowers
from the park, please dial 911 and report it immediately.

Both Scott and our community works hard to help keep this park looking
great for all to enjoy. We must help put a stop to these illegal
activities.
