CINEMA SUR L’HERBE FILMS ON THE GREEN

The critically-acclaimed movie Je ne suis pas là pour être aimé, by
Stéphane Brizé is part of Cinéma Sur l’Herbe | Films on the Green, a
free French movie festival happening in NYC Parks. The sub-titled
screening will take place Friday July 11 at sunset (around 8.30 pm) at
Saint Nicholas Park.

The screening will be followed by a party.

Famous Argentine duo Tito Castro (Bandoneon) and Pancho Navarro
(classic guitar) will perform two sets: the 1st one at 10:30 and then
the 2nd one at 11:30. Each set will be approx 30 minutes.

In between the Live Music sets, DJ Ko Tanaka will play a variety of
tangos, valses and milongas for the film festival attendees until the
end of the event. DJ Ko Tanaka is very well-known in the NYC Tango
community. In addition to his great mix of Tangos, Valses & Milongas,
he has been an organizer of Tango dance events.

GETTING TO KNOW THE HAMILTON GRANGE PRESENTATION

Hamilton Grange National Memorial preserves the home of Alexander
Hamilton, the first Secretary of the Treasury and co-author of the
Federalist Papers.
On June 7, 2008, the Grange moved to its new home in St. Nicholas
Park. In honor of the move, the National Park Service is offering a
special presentation on the past, present and future of the Grange at
2 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2008 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.
Learn more about this unique American property, the man who built it,
and why moving it will ensure that the Grange will be a place of
enjoyment and education for generations to come.
