Everyone knows this was happening, even David Paterson admitted awareness and failing the tenants in his job function at State Senator. But Rangel? He claimed no awareness that these absues were happening, something everyone knows was a lie. He looked the other way and let them happen to preserve his FOUR rent stab apartments. Seems to me the New York Times is doing a service that the Amsterdam News failed to do, expose Rangel and the landlord, both exploiting Harlemites.
