Once again, it is the time of year when you can kick back on the lawn the of the lovely Morris-Jumel Mansion to listen to live jazz music while the gentle Manhattan breezes lull you into a rare state of serenity. In my humble opinion, the annual Jazz at the Mansion is the most elegant of all summer events in Harlem.

For the 16th consecutive year — rain or shine — my good friends, the vivacious Marjorie Eliot assisted by her talented son Rudy, will be sharing their musical gifts with all who are willing to receive. Come see for yourself why the late great Duke Ellington said, “the Morris-Jumel Mansion is the crown at the top of Sugar Hill.”
