El Barrio, already known by several different monikers, has now been dubbed LEH or Lower East Harlem by real estate brokers.   Brokertales.com posted a list of the 5 Best New LEH Restos of ’08.  I happened to notice the preponderance of new restaurants along Lexington Avenue when I attended the grand opening of the East Harlem Cafe the other week.  Brokertales.com posted the following restaurants:

  1. La Galette Café
  2. Joy Burger Bar
  3. Moustache Pitza
  4. Giovanna’s Classic Diner
  5. Jimmy’s Classic Diner
