Editor’s Note: November Days
The poets who described the month of November as “dull” obviously didn’t live in Harlem. I have been busy trying to keep up with all that is happening in the neighborhood. My to do list is growing about as long as Santa’s list of children who have been naughty or nice.
Below are some of the posts that I am working on getting up by next week:
- Reviews: I have a partially written review of the play “American Buffalo” and a product review forthcoming.
- Events:
- Sesame Street: Made in NY panel at the Apollo
- Grand opening of OH
- Entrepreneur night at East Harlem Cafe
Typically, I find myself hibernating once the days begin to shorten and the nights get longer and colder. The new Harlem seems to have other plans for me. Stay tuned….

Don’t worry about “American Buffalo” it is set to close on Sunday.
Where did you get that information? The theater was packed when I went. The show just opened.
Follow up: OK I see it is a provisional closing. What a shame they couldn’t sustain the run longer. I will still post the review however. It wasn’t too bad.
Yea my friend is sending me some complimentary tickets for this weekend since it is closing. I am a die-hard David Mamet fan so I was going to watch it either way.
