Let’s say your sister-in-law, who happens to be a huge fan of V.S. beauty products, generously shared her love of Dream Angel with you by buying the most expensive holiday gift set in the store.  There’s just a slight problem — you are more of an earth goddess so you prefer the natural scents of Carol’s Daughter products.  Don’t sweat it because Carol’s Daughter has got you covered.  Carol’s Daughter is offering the first 100 customers a chance to swap out their unwanted beauty gifts for Carol’s Daughter products.  To make the deal even sweeter, your eligible swap will benefit the Lupus Foundation.  Of course there is a catch (see details after the jump).  Now, if only you could swap those hand knitted rainbow socks…

The first 100 guests to bring their unused prestige beauty and personal care gifts (up to a $40.00 value) to any of the seven Carol’s Daughter stand-alone stores on Friday December 26th can swap their unwanted gift for a new Carol’s Daughter present.

* December 26, 2008 Charity Swap Restrictions:

No purchase necessary. One trade-in item per customer. Beauty and personal care items must be new and unopened. Drugstore brands are not eligible. Swapped item(s) (up to five items) are of like category from limited selection, up to a $40.00 value. Promotion is valid in Carol’s Daughter retail stores on December 26, 2008 only. The first 100 customers are eligible for trade, pending store management approval. Carol’s Daughter products not available for swap include Pearls by Carol’s Daughter, and select items greater than 4 oz. in size. Customers with ineligible items for swap may still donate to the Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) and are eligible to receive a 20% coupon for a single purchase (at manager’s discretion) and Carol’s Daughter Wet Natural Shine for Lips (while supplies last).
