Street Dance: The Hitters!

Join the Bronx Museum’s First Fridays! Hosted by Rokafella and Kwikstep, husband and wife, co founders of Full circle Prod Inc- NYC’s premiere Hip-hop dance theater company- as they have an open conversation with the original street dancers

The night will also feature a screening of the trailer for ” All the Ladies Say,” a film about national and international female break dancers. After a short interlude, La Roka will perform with her band-RPM.

Panelist include: The Executioners, NYC Float Committee, The Transformers, The Breeze Team and United Street Artists.

First Fridays and marketing activities are generously supported by Deutsche Bank and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

The Bronx Museum of the Arts receives ongoing general operating support from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs with the cooperation of Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion Jr. and the Bronx Delegation of the New York City Council, Ford Foundation, New York State Council on the Arts, Bronx Delegation of the New York State Assembly, and private sources.

Getting to The Bronx Museum of the Arts
Subway: Take the D or B to the 167 Street / Grand Concourse station. Exit at rear of station, walk south along Grand Concourse two blocks. 4 to the 161 Street / Yankee Stadium station. Walk east three blocks to the Grand Concourse, then, walk north four blocks along Grand Concourse to 165th Street.

Bus: Take the Bx1, Bx2, or BxM4 Express to 165th St. and Grand Concourse.

Museum Hours
Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 11am – 6 pm. Friday from 11am – 8 pm. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday
