A reader sent in the follow information about a new Parisian bakery that has set up shop on East 116th Street..  You can learn more about this new addition to the neighborhood on Yelp!

Hey there-

Just a heads up that a bit of Paris has landed on 116th and Lex.  It’s a place called SpaHa Cafe.  They have great breads, pastries, coffees and savory food (sandwiches, quiches, etc).  It’s all sourced from the best suppliers and it’s all 100% a la Francaise.  The owner, Tikki (sp?) also couldn’t be nicer.  We so needed something like this in our neighborhood, and I just thought I’d spread the word.

By the way, I happened to be on the east side last week and found myself on the same block as Savoy Bakery located on East 110th Street.  Savoy is a sweet little gem tucked in the middle of a very unassuming East Harlem block that is well worth checking out for their attractive and fresh pastry offerings.
