Bourgeoisie ushers in spring with a showing of beautifully designed and well-crafted shoes from the world’s finest European designers hosted by the beautiful June Ambrose (fashion icon and author of Effortless Style) who has styled for the likes of Jay Z, Ciara, Kelly Ripa, Sean “Puffy” Combs, Kim Cattrall, Mariah Carey, Macy Gray and Mary J Blige. This private event will take place on April 30, 2009 from 7:00pm – 11:00pm.

As seen in New York Magazine, Bravo TV, the Wendy Williams Show, VH1 and more, Bourgeoisie Shoe Lounge has quickly emerged as Harlem’s “must visit” location for high- end foot fashion. Carrying a choice selection ranging from Giuseppe Zanotti, Casadei, Georgina Goodman, Pour La Victoire, Stuart Weitzmen, to exclusive custom selections. “The Platform” affair will feature a foot notes feature with June Ambrose, where the uber stylist will show guests the coveted style secrets that celebrities treasure, sponsored by Madison Rolls Royce. To add to the night’s splendor, representatives from Giuseppe Zanotti, Casadei, and Georgina Goodman will be on sight to preview their coveted, never previewed fall ‘09 collection.

Partial Proceeds from “The Platform” will go to benefit the EIF REVLON Run/ Walk. Created in 1993 through the committed and collective efforts of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, Lilly Tartikoff, and Ronald O. Perelman, The EIF REVLON Run/Walk For Women has grown to become one of the nation’s largest 5K fundraising events. To date, the Run/Walks (LA/NY) have distributed nearly 55 million dollars for cancer research, treatment, counseling and outreach programs.

With a host of celebrity invited guests, tastemakers, and fashion mavens, Bourgeoisie Shoe Lounge’s, invitation-only affair “The Platform”, will introduce luxurious footwear sure to leave footprints throughout the city.

  • Did any of you all go to the event tonight ..???

    • UF didn’t attend the event but we do have a follow up that will posted this week. Thanks for reading!

  • Who does the PR for this event? There is no address. I’ve seen several press releases and event listings and I have yet to see the address listed. That is poor public relations.

    • That is because they are advertising it as being located on the Upper East Side when it is actually in Harlem on 7th Avenue. We have a link to their website on the left sidebar which has the address and phone number. http://www.bourgeoisieshoes.com
      Thanks for reading.

  • June Ambrose also styles the pricy looks on Harlem Heights. That’s “reality” for you.
