Ruben Studdard’s soulful ‘Love IS,’ is the  fourth album and first release since 2006 for the former American Idol Winner. Out today, the 12-song collection features Ruben’s musical interpretations of Kris Kristofferson’s “For The Good Times,” Michael Jackson’s “I Can’t Help It” (written by Stevie Wonder) and a powerful rendition of Extreme’s ”More Than Words.”

‘Love IS’ also contains “A Song For Her,” co-written by Ruben for his new bride; the deeply romantic “My Love Is A Rock”; and “Footprints In The Sand,” a signature inspirational album closer.

Highly acclaimed music producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis were at the helm of “Love IS,” while Stargate held down production for “Together” and “How You Make Me Feel. The music video for “Together” is being played nationwide on BETJ, VH-1 Soul and MTV.

Studdard is wrapping up a tour with the musical Ain’t Misbehavin’ and will perform live on June 13 at New York City’s Central Park Summerstage (along with Smokie Norful and Tye Tribbett).
