New York Restoration Project and Midori & Friends host a day of music and movement in the Target East Harlem Community Garden. Exciting activities include jazz lessons and a how-to workshop creating kid friendly instruments made out of recycled materials.  Enjoy a live jazz performance by members of the Landmark Coalition and dance the evening away with BombaYo who will be teaching the  Bomba, a style of music from Puerto Rico with African roots, followed by a performance by New York City’s own YERBABUENA who will share the magic of Boricua Roots Music.
