Carol’s Daughter has a Spa!

On June 13, 2009 by D. Bell

I happened to wander into Carol’s Daughter the other day since I hadn’t been a while. Many of my long time readers know I was once an avid user of CD beauty products (pre-Sephora fame). As I made my way toward the back of the store I peeked behind a wall to see an assortment of women luxuriating in spa chairs. I inquired at the front desk and discovered that Lisa Price, the founder of Carol’s Daughter, has now added a luxurious spa to the Harlem flagship location.

While information about the spa is not available online, you can walk in to and check out the full menu of services that feature CD products. I’ll be going back for a pedicure soon!

  • Yes CD does have a spa somewhat going on in the back of the store. They are still adding services to their spa experience. I had a pedicure done about two weeks ago there. Mind you I do a fairly good job with maintaining my own feet. Sometimes we just need to be pampered. I wasn’t very satisfied with the over priced pedicure I received. I still noticed a few rough patches they missed.

And had to handle that in the shower myself. CD has some very good products which are very expensive for the community she is in. I will return back to my Korean nail shop from now on for my pedi’s and continue shopping at Bath & Body Works for my other stuff. Sorry its not worth the funds especially now with the economy.
