The Mothership Connection: A Summer of Music
The Maysles Cinema, in partnership with Reel Harlem, is proud to announce we are officially kicking off “The Mothership Connection: A Summer of Music,” our summer long music documentary and concert film series on Wednesday, July 8th with a free outdoor screening of Parliament-Funkadelic: The Mothership Connection (1976) in Morningside Park at 7:30pm. On Thursday, July 9th we pick up the pieces with Steve Alpert’s Girl Groups: The Story of a Sound (1982), as well in Morningside Park at 7:30pm.
Rain venue: Church of the Master 86 Morningside Avenue between 121 and 122 Streets.
